SANTA BARBARA, CA — The University of California at Santa Barbara is about to open the brand new Pollock Theater. It will be a great venue for film students to learn. We will also have amazing film events at night.
I am in need of 2 35mm Projectors. I cannot do a platter system, so I will be going old school and doing changeovers.
does anyone have 35mm projectors? And does anyone know of a consultant that would like to help install?
Thanks,
Matt Ryan

American Cinema Equipment in Portland, Oregon will have everything you need and installation service too. Plus they have a Los Angeles office:

There’s also Cinema Equipment Sales of California:

I agree with Ken. You might also try www.iceco.com The equipment will be used/reconditioned (if you don’t want new) but will outlast you if properly maintained.
If you haven’t already, try contacting Metropolitan Theatres. If they’re doing any sort of switch to digital any time soon they may have some old projectors they’d like to get rid of. Also you never know if they have any old projectors in storage from locations that they closed down in the SB area.
IF YOU HAVE GOT THE EQUIPMENT THEN WELL OTHERWISE I CAN SUPPLY YOU COMPLETE SOUND AND DOUBLE PROJECTION EQUIPMENT. I CAN ALSO ASSIST YOU IN INSTALLATION JOB CONSISTING OF SOUND SYSTEM, ELECTRICAL FITTING AND MECHANICAL JOBS. PL. Contact ME AT I AM IN THE CINEMA TRADE SINCE 1985.
