Cinema Treasures passed the 25,000-theater mark this past week as our database of theaters keeps growing at a blistering pace.
Thank you to all of the thousands of contributors who have made Cinema Treasures a destination site for movie theater exhibitors and patrons, journalists, and researchers.
Finally, a special thank you to Bryan Krefft and our theater editor extraordinaire, Ken Roe, whose tireless dedication and expertise are the reason Cinema Treasures is what it is today.
Thank you again and see you at 30,000. :)

Indeed; The knowledge of Ken Roe and Lost Memory, the warmth and friendliness of Peter K. and Luis V. have enriched my visits to this blog. Many thanks to all for sharing your theatre knowledge with fellow enthusiasts. Best wishes for a long and successful run.

It’s agreed…this is a wonderful website. Glad I found it again and re-joined.
Great job guys, and thank you so much for all your hard work. We all apreciate you.
yes congratulations team, would love to see more photos being able to be uploaded.
Congratulations! Definitely one of the most valuable web sites.
And I must echo those who say PLEASE do something about the picture library. We’re having to rely on people providing them off-site, and so many of those links become obsolete in time.
Thanks, and keep up the incredible work!
ross and pat——-thank you——-step back in time——every time i visit the site——-if we could save chicago’s uptown theater ——-we could save a part of america’s legacy and culture——of good times and rough times the uptown has seen it all——if only she could speak——-thank you and all the good people who visit the site and share their knowledge and memories of our movie palaces and neighber-hood cinema’s——look forward to sharing the 30,ooo and 35,000-milestones with you and all who contribute to the site.
Love this site I am an old theater man myself. Worked for LOEWS many years but love all the old and new movie houses. This site keeps me out of the bars and off the street, just kidding.Great work keep it coming!
i have a good friend and we thought no one in the world would give a flip about exploring old theatres when we could slip in an old rotten exit door. Stomp in high grass watching for snakes at old drive in sites. When he told me about CT i just could not believe it.
I spent about 7 years in the Business before it went to pot. Even today i find it hard to believe there are other old theatre dawgs like Nick and myself. I always try to add truthful insight to any site i visit on CT. HAPPY HOLIDAYS GANG.
