Hello,
I have two old ticket dispensing machines and I would like to sell them. I also have some rolls of tickets to go with them.

I am based in Gillingham, Kent. For more details, my number is 077 26 77 88 29

Many Thanks,
George Kasabi

Looks to be one of those ‘automaticket’ machines that were popular in the 60’s and 70’s.

Thats what it looks like. The motor drives in those make them very heavy ship if you all six in that unit.

Those are definetly AUTOMATICKET machines!! They came out sometime in the late 40’s and were the standard for most theatres until the advent of computers. I would like a nickel for every day through the years I threaded those machines, prior to box office opening time!

Add to that the calculations necessary to prevent overselling! They were workhorses though…

Overselling yes! However, we referred to them as an “overpunch”. New cashiers were great for that. We would end up filling out special overpunch forms for EACH ticket, which in turn had to be submitted with the daily box office report to LA. I can still hear the sound those AUTOMATICKET machines made every time a ticket was punched.

Would they be able to deliver to Dorchester, Dorset, UK? and would they be under 60.00 UK Pounds?
