During the Cinerama days, the Boyd Theatre was owned and operated by Stanley Warner Theatres, and the Randolph (formerly known as Keith’s Chestnut Street Theatre) was owned and operated by William Goldman Theatres.

I saw 2001 when I was 8 yrs old at the old Joy Theatre which was torned down twenty years ago. When I got older I saw 2001 once again when I was in junior high school when it was released. Being eight then I can tell you the music scared me then but now I enjoy watching more and more; I suggest u buy the 2 disc version dvd for the documentries are wonderful watch.
