Kenwood Drive-In goes dark

LOUISVILLE, KY — The last drive-in theater in Louisville is now closed. For 59 years, the south end icon was the place to go to watch movies outdoors. The family favorite and city landmark will be greatly missed.

Well, THE KENWOOD DRIVE – IN deserves a bit more and here is a little history for Rozwell. In the late 50’s when Louisville had 5 drive ins, The KENWOOD was one of the large ones with parking for 700 cars.It was owned by W. Fields.
