I am a new theatre owner, and we have a Brenkert BX 60 projector in the booth. It has not been running in 8 or 9 months. I am wondering what’s the best way to get it back into action? This projector worked fine before the theatre was closed.
This theatre is in Wisconsin. Any suggestions of people or companies in WI or MN who might be able to troubleshoot with me if I have problems?
Thanks!

This is where projector techs hang out online. They are super helpful and probably can provide you with names of experts in your area. The manual for your machine is also available on the site as a download.

That is the best site….
The BX-60 is one of my favorite projectors of all time! I have an immaculate 1951 BX-60, RCA 9030, RCA base, and Brenket Enarc with less than 1000 hours runnig time on it! I have lots of experience with the BX-60. I would be delighted to troubleshoot it or help you out.
I run a 1951 BX-60, which has a RCA 9030 attached to it as well. The projector is in very nice condition, but I am beginning to notice some ‘jittering’ of the film. I suspect that I have a gear lash issue with the intermittent somewhere, but not exactly sure where. This BX-60 has LOTS of hours on it. Any thoughts as to the jittering? Does anyone have another BX-60 available for sale? I would really love to have some parts, if not a complete BX-60, ready to go.
