Cinema Treasures Adds Google Maps

We’ve upgraded our theater pages to support Google Maps.

With Google Maps, you can now view beautiful, detailed maps of your favorite theater locations. And, as of yesterday, you can also view satellite imagery of a theater.

To see a sample, take a look at Graumann’s Chinese, Ziegfeld Theater, or the Balboa Theatre.

Google maps are cool technology, but unless you have a broadband connection, you shouldn’t even try to use them.

Actually, Ron, they should work fine on a dialup connection, albeit slowly. Some of the more advanced features (like dragging the map) should probably be avoided in that case, though.

Great idea, but would love to have the photo feature back either in place of or in addition to.

Great feature, we can now see what has been built on the site of some great Movie Palaces…..I agree with Patsy, would love to see the photo feature back soon, but I do understand it takes time. Keep up the great work.
