Happy holidays to all of our Cinema Treasures users! Best wishes for the holiday season.
(And, for those of you still looking for a stocking stuffer, don’t forget about our new book. Copies are available at your local bookstore and many online retailers.)

So what holiday movies are you planning to see?
Here’s my short list: The Aviator, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Hotel Rwanda, and Flight of the Phoenix (pretty sure it won’t top the original, but I’m still planning to go.)
I still need to see The Polar Express too.
The Aviator and Beyond the Sea, but for sure Polar Express in 3D! And maybe even National Treasure with Nicolas Cage. And speaking of ‘treasures, I highly recommend Cinema Treasures as Santa has already put it under my Christmas tree this year! I’ll be reading it tonight with a cup of hot cocoa as Santa begins his journey around the world. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to all and to all a good night!
I can’t recommend ‘Bad Education’ more highly – Almodovar is the one European director working today most boldly carrying on the tradition of filmmaker artists such as Fellini and Bunuel, directors who entertained us with their visual feasts, striking characters, and brilliant, multilayered storylines. ‘Bad Education’ is only the most recent example of Almodovar’s continually evolving, intoxicating purview and it’s nothing short of a stunning treat.
Merry Christmas, and a happy new year to all!
Happy Holidays everyone. :)
All the movies around lately seem to suck. Spanglish might be okay, and I’ll probably see Meet The Fockers since Meet The Parents was good, but other than that moviegoing these days is a vast wasteland.
This whole year kind of stunk for motion pictures. The two I would rank as my favorites this year were I’m Not Scared and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
Two movies I’m looking forward to that will be playing just after the holidays are The Woodsman and Goodbye Dragon Inn.
(Incidentally, “stocking stouffer”? Is the book some new kind of Lean Cuisine?)
Hugs and kisses darlings!
Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
………Love Always,
The Aviator is pretty entertaining. Sometimes, it felt like a A&E Biography special, but overall, it was quite enjoyable.
Happy Holidays to Patrick and Ross at Cinema Treasures – and to another great year!!!
How do you put this page into My Favorites? Thanks
