Curious if this stub from this venue as it’s only listed as “Loews Nassau”- other than pure greed what would make this ticket stub worth $199.99 (even though it’s marked down to 169.99 - such a bargain)

This theatre was a premiere showcase theatre when it open. It would get all the exclusive Nassau showing with either the Sunrise Cinemas or Green Acres Theatre as the 2 locations for major openings.
Maybe they’re on the menu.
bye bye rats
Don’t know when, but it reopened.
Theater closed temporarily because of rodent infestation. Hello. Dine In.
From what I viewed on Historical Aerial’s website, the Famous Footwear, Carter’s, and Five Below were built right in front of the old Loews Nassau Quad entrance, probally right around the same time the theatre went from a 6-Plex into a 10-plex

This is the best theater on Long Island. Now all screens have the big AMC reserved recliners. And the food is pretty good (only problem is always a long line and wait at the bar)
Re the overview. If you look at the photos section the theater began life as a Quad. How they got up to ten is another story. But prior to Loew’s getting involved the sign on the property, for more than a year, said that an Imperial Twin Theater was coming. Other than margarine the name Imperial means nothing to me.
Listed on AMC Theatres website as AMC Levittown 10 Theatre https://www.amctheatres.com/movie-theatres/new-york-city/amc-levittown-10
Full shot of building uploaded.
The theater has been renovated with new reclining seats as of Feb of this year. All the marquees to each of the 10 theaters is computerized. Bathrooms have also been renovated. Everything has AMC signage except the front marquee which shows Loews. Regular admission is now $11.49 and you need to reserve your seats. You should see for yourself. It was long overdue for renovations. This is the 3rd theater in LI with reclining seats-Broadway Multiplex and Regal Ronkonkoma are the other 2 and AMC Roosevelt Field is next. It was an awesome experience coming to this theater and me and my friends are doing this again. One of my favorite theaters in Nassau County.
I saw my first movie here in 1985 – “Santa Claus: The Movie,” starring Dudley Moore and John Lithgow. At the time, they lobby still had the giant paintings of old movie stars – John Wayne, etc. I would love to see photos of that.
Years later, I worked at this theater as an usher/concession/ticket seller. It was a great experience. I once got into a conversation with the projectionist, and asked him what his favorite movie they ever screened there was. He said “MASH.”
God, I haven’t been to this venue in nearly 20 years. How’s she holding up?
KingBiscuits,
About 2006, me and a guy from AMC gutted the entire Interfilm cabinet. It had four (4) Pioneer LD-V8000 laserdisc players inside of it. He took one and I acquired three. Sold two and kept one for myself. At the time I got it, the motor that spins the disc only had 880 hours used of the total 10,000 hour lifespan (Mean Time Between Failures). That’s less than 1% of the total lifespan of the motor. It’s just too bad that I couldn’t get hold of the laserdiscs. They vanished years before we cannibalized the unit. I did manage to acquire the software CD-ROM for Ride for Your Life. I contains a customized install of Win 95 and some of the graphics that were shown at the bottom of the screen. They’re uncompressed Windows BMP’s.
Take good care,
Bill N.

O.K.
This was one of the few theatres to get involved with the Interfilm experiment in 1995.
