This theater was also operated by Fox Midwest for Black patrons in 1940’s and 50’s

This one opened on February 22, 1920.

1330-1334 East 18th (18th and Lydia) was the actual address of the Lincoln Theater.

According to http://library.umkc.edu/spec-col/parisoftheplains/webexhibit/musical/mus-10.htm this was an African-American theatre. Advertised as “the theater beautiful,” the 1,500-seat Lincoln Theater opened in February 1920.

Google aerial photos indicate both the Lincoln and Liberty Theaters are demolished.
