The Main Theatre, one of only a few single-screen movie houses left in Arkansas that is still open, has continuously operated since it was built in 1947. In addition to movies, it hosted live acts in its early years.
The Main Theatre has been run by its current owner since 1974 and currently is open on weekends only.

A 1987 view of the Main Theater in Berryville.
Do they play classic/revival movies here?
No website, but does have a Facebook page. Currently showing first-run movies on the weekends.
I am pretty sure the opening date is wrong. The plaque on the building reads βTeague Newman Phillips 1947β.
Current functions are a mix of first-run and independent films.
