Located on Lake Eastbrook at the Eastbrook Mall. It originally opened as a single screen theatre. It was later twinned by dividing it down the middle. They failed to extend the projection booth and the projectors weren’t centered on the screens. It was annoying to the patrons because one edge was always slightly out of focus. The theatre closed in the late 1980’s and converted to a club called the Orbit Room operated by Clear Channel.

This venue’s 70mm presentations history is included in the recently-published article “70mm Presentations in Grand Rapids: A Chronology of 70mm Large Format Exhibition, 1967-Present”.
It was converted into a live concert venue Club Eastbrook 1986-1993, prior to becoming The Orbit Room which closed in 2018. Confirmed Demolished 2023. Link with photos below.
