Correction: This opened as Cine 4, but was later briefly renamed the Winona Cinema on December 19, 1997 after three weeks of remodeling closure. It expanded to 7-screens in February 1998 and was renamed the Winona Cinema 7.

This theater opened on June 15, 1979. It originally had only 4 screens and was called the Cine 4. The first four films shown were “Grease”, “Good Guys Wear Black”, “Butch & Sundance: The Early Years” and “Jaws”.

Have they screened any of Winona Ryder’s movies here? She is from this town, and named after the town too.
