Located in the south of the city centre in the Saint Germain des Pres district. The Dragon opened in 1963, operated by Boris Gourevitch, Multicine chain as an arthouse movie theatre, and had interesting architecture reminiscent of Art Deco/Streamline Moderne styles. The theatre had a very long and narrow auditorium with sober lighting and a curtain looking like an old tapestry. It was on the ground floor of a very old building.

305 seats on a slope from the screen to the rear had a good view to the square screen from wall to wall for old movies but not for CinemaScope.

The development of new multiplexes killed the Dragon which had turned to gay adult movies in 1986 and closed in the early-1990’s. It was later converted to a supermarket selling frozen foods.
