This nondescript single-screen theatre opened on December 25, 1971 with Jerry Orback in “The Gang That Couldn’t Shoot Straight”. It was located in the Olmsted Plaza in North Olmsted. National Theatre Corporation operated it. The theatre closed in 1986, and a National City Bank branch office occupies the space now.

Glad to have found this theatre as I was just talking to a N. Olmsted resident and he did not recall this theatre so will tell him it is a bank location now.
This was opened by National General Theatres. When I lived in the high-rise across the street in 1973 Mann Theatres was operating it. National (not National General) took over the Great Northern Theatre after RKO left town in the 70s. I thought this one closed earlier than 1986 – it was small, never did any business because the Great Northern, Fairview and Westgate Cinema City got all the good pictures.
I believe from the time that theater closed and became at bank it was a electronics store then that went bust and became a National City Bank branch.
Would love to see a photo of this former theatre.
This opened on Christmas day of 1971. ad: View link
Also uploaded the grand opening ad in the photo section
The Google Maps view is dead on and the PNC Bank branch is in the actual building. They did not tear the structure down, just repurposed it. Fairly nondescript rectangle.
Opened on Christmas Day 1971 with Jerry Orbach in “The Gang That Couldn’t Shoot Straight”.
