Palace Theatre

This theater appears on the 1915 Sanborn. It was located in the eastern half of an old two story brick commercial building which appears to date from around 1880.

This theater appears in the 1914-15 AMPD. It is possible that it later became the Amuzu, which is listed in the 1926 Yearbook with no capacity and likely closed.

The building today is in decent shape, and this portion is a realtor.

Note that the historical address was 419 before most of the N-S streets got a dull generic number scheme.
