The Bunche Theatre was located in Bunche Park, an established distinct African American community within Opa-locka, to the north of Miami, FL. It was settled by World War II veterans and named in honor of Nobel Peace Prize laureate Ralph Bunche. The Bunche Theatre was in operation from the late-1950’s up through the early-1960’s.
