Grand Theatre

This early theater was open by February, 1913, when it was operating in a simple one story tin-clad wooden building. This lot was empty on the December, 1908 map.

This may have been the Grand Theatre listed in the 1914-15 AMPD. It did not last very long, and the 1921 map shows it used as a garage. Long ago demolished, the building site today is a very bland one story retail complex.

Note that while the theater was operating, Las Cruces Ave was known as Depot St.
