Originally located on Hereford Street and opened in 1985 as a video store named Alice in Videoland. It specialised in rare films from around the world. It was relocated to its current home in the Old Post Office Building on Tuam Street in what is known as the SALT District, just to the south of the City Centre.
The two auditoriums are named the Egyptian and the Wonderland. Screening latest releases, independent films and film festivals. There is also a licenced bar.
Keeping their original purpose, there is a fully stocked video rental space.
