The Mayfair Theatre was opened by 1946 when it was operated by Amalgamated Theatres Ltd. It became the Cinerama Theatre on May 9, 1963 screening “This is Cinerama”. Closed on June 3, 1985 with “2010: The Year We Make Contact”. Demolished shortly thereafter.
