The Beaver Theatre opened its doors by the husband-and-wife team of Lou and Molly Consky in 1954, who operated the Beaver Theatre for more than four decades. It was closed around 2007, but had a brief reopening in mid-2009 before closing later that year. Ever since several years after closure, the building began to severely deteriorate.
