Theatre

This theatre appears on the 1914 Sanborn, in the southern half of a large two story brick commercial building. It was associated with a confectionery.

The theatre remains in operation on the 1922 map, to the rear of a store. It had closed by 1935, when the entire space was a store.

The 1914-15 AMPD lists both the Electric Theatre and Imp Theatre. The Imp Theatre is specified as being on Main Street. The 1914 map, from October, shows only this one theatre. If this was open until 1926, it was then known as the Isis Theatre, which is listed in the Yearbook with 200 seats.

This building was demolished many years ago, and the concrete foundation was used for parking until the recent construction of a restaurant on the site.
