Crystal Theatre

This theatre was located in the southern half of the old city hall building, a two story brick structure built in 1909. The theatre may have operated from the beginning, but it was certainly running by 1911.

This theatre is still shown on the 1920 map, but (provided I have identified it correctly) it was closed around 1924, and converted to a store, possibly operated by the Beckett Brothers, who still have a nameplate on the facade.

The building today is in fair shape, and this space is occupied by a thrift store.
