The Folkets Hus Jönköping, or known in English as “People’s House Jönköping”, opened its doors on 14th August 1957 as a single-screener. It was originally operated by Swedish Folk Cinemas, but was tripled in 1989 after being taken over by The Sandrews Group. This didn’t last long, and the theater closed on 29th April 1990.
