Located in the old 1915-built Crescent Theatre, the Pitcher Show was opened in 1996 by the Rothieaux family and is the only dining/bar and movie theater combination in the area.
The theater seats 170, and light food, snacks, candy and beverages (both alcoholic and soft drinks) are served. Second-run films are shown as well as Packers games during the NFL season. The Pitcher Show is also available for rental for special events.
It was closed in 2013.

The grand opening was March 1, 1915.
The seating capacity was originally 500.
The correct spelling is Shawano.
No wonder I couldn’t find it. The name of the city needs to be corrected. Here is another photo:

Drove by the Crescent Pitcher Show this past weekend and it is sadly now closed.
From their Facebook Page: It is with a heavy heart and great trepidation that I must tell you it is time to close our beloved theater. You, our loyal customers, have been wonderfully supportive over the years. I have had the opportunity to meet some of the greatest people during this adventure. I have the best crew of employees anyone could ever ask for. I could never have gotten this far without all of them. I love you guys like family and I hope we stay close! I have made a pile of great friends and will always consider Shawano my home away from home. Heck, I met the best girl EVER right here at the Crescent, and together we have created a great marriage and a wonderful family. Believe me when I tell you that this dream died hard and with great financial and emotional consequence to me and my family. I am tired, worn out, and just plain beaten down by the struggle to keep this little independent theater going.

Ge orge and Anna Nagle moved to Shawano in 1914 and built the Crescent Theatre that year opening in 1915. George died prior to opening. Anna ran the theatre 47 years passing away at age 91 while working in the office of the Crescent. The Crescent continued to 1988 when Cinema I and II launched on East Green Bay. The theater’s second life was as the Crescent Pitcher Show from 1996 to 2013. It was being renovated to became a microbrewery potentially reopening in the early 2020s. The Nagle name is still at the top of the building.
