Situated to the northeast of Graz city centre, the Geidorf Kunstkino (“art cinema”) opened in 1959.

It was originally operated by Constantin Film, and latterly by CineplexX Austria.

Seating capacities are: Screen 1(“Movie”):183, Screen 2(“Geidorf” [the district]:92 and Screen 3(“Studio”):76.

Screen 2 has very unusual wall ‘decoration’ which gives the impression that it has collapsed!

Since 2002 it has been a member of the Europa Group of art house cinemas.
