The Blueridge Cinemas III in the Blueridge Park Shopping Center was opened by Thompson Theatres on March 26th, 1978, taken over by Storey Theatres in 1979 and finally the Georgia Theatre Company. It was closed at the end of December 1996 after the Hollywood 14 opened.
The shopping center was demolished in 2022.
