Valley Drive-In

The 1949-50 Theatre Catalog was the first edition to include the Valley Drive-In, owner A. J. Varrelman. Later editions included its capacity, 200 cars.

In July 1951 and in September 1957, Boxoffice magazine mentioned that Adolph Varrelman visited Seattle’s Film Row on behalf of Omak’s Valley.

A 1952 aerial photo showed a small, rectangular drive-in on the northeast side of Omak. The drive-in was gone by 1973. The Omache Shopping Center occupies most of the former viewing field; the building closest to the old entrance is at 600 Omache Drive.
