Located in the Towne South Plaza on S. Highway 41, south of the I-70 interchange. The Towne South Cinema was opened by General Cinema Theatres on October 26, 1978. It was taken over by Kerasotes Theatres on March 17, 1988.
It was closed in May 2000, following the opening of Showplace 12. It was demolished a few years later.
