Cinemas NOS Alameda

Situated to the east of the city, adjacent to the Estádio do Dragão (“Dragon Stadium”, home to Porto FC, which opened in 2003) the Dolce Vita Shopping Centre opened in 2005.

In 2006 its owner, Amorim Group, sold it to the Spanish group Chamartin. The next year, this ‘high-end’ venue was named the Best Shopping Centre in the world by the International Council of Shopping Centres.

In 2015 the centre was sold again (purchasers not known) and it was renamed the Alameda Shop & Spot the following year.

There are 129 shops and, on the fourth (top) floor an extensive food court with 30 restaurants - and a Cinemas NOS multiplex operated by NOS Audiovisual, part of the NOS telecommunications and media empire and the largest circuit in Portugal.

Seating capacities are: Screen 1:289, 2:141, 3:167, 4:158, 5:144, 6:119 and 7:66.
