The Casa Theatre opening on October 1, 1910, by Mrs. W.J. Boylan in the Hancock Building on Central Square was reported in the Auburn Journal. Advertisements said there were offices and rooms on the second floor.

After closing, on March 5, 1927, Burns Pharmacy moved into the building and remained there until 1969.

The building can still be seen in Auburn today, most recently as an Italian trattoria restaurant.
