Electric Theatre

This tiny theatre appears on the 1916 Sanborn, in a two story brick storefront. The building was constructed between 1895 and 1899, and the 1906 map shows a drugstore here.

This was almost certainly the Electric Theatre, listed in the 1914-15 American Motion Picture Directory. As one of the smallest buildings in town, it was not a good choice for a theatre conversion, and was likely closed within a few years.

The building today is in fair condition, with an ugly postwar storefront, and a missing cornice. It is a Mexican restaurant.
