The 109 Cinemas Kohoku is the first ever movie theater operated by the 109 Cinemas chain, opening on April 25, 1998 with 7 screens and 1,068 seats with 22 wheelchairs (five in Screens 1 and 2, three in Screens 3 and 4, and two in Screens 5, 6, and 7).
Screens 1 and 2 also housed 36 executive seats, with 20 in Screen 1 and 16 in Screen 2, and the rest of the auditoriums have Pair seats with Screen 3 having the most with 12, Screen 5 having 6, and the rest having 4 each. For general seats, Screen 1 is the largest with 312 seats and Screen 7 is the smallest with 74 seats. The rest have ranging capacities of 82-202.
