The Aeon Cinema Makuhari Shintoshin located on the third floor of the Mukuhari opened its doors on December 20, 2013 with 10 screens and 1,549 seats.

Also on the third floor, there is a separate 300-seat permanent theater that opened at the same time in partnership with the Yoshimoto Kogyo chain, and housed special events and a production facility for several television shows by the Chiba Television Broadcasting Corporation (CTC) or JOCL-TV by call sign.
