Les Promenades was opened on March 26, 1982 as part of Cinemas Unis. Then became part of Famous Players and closed in 2001. On August 26, 2005 it was reopened by Cine Starz. It was closed in 2014.

Les Promenades Cinemas, originally opened by Cinémas Unis (United Amusements-Famous Players) on March 26, 1982, closed its doors in 2001. It later reopened as Ciné-Starz on August 26, 2005, under the ownership of Canpro Investments and operated by Ciné-Starz. However, it ultimately closed again in the spring of 2014. Grand opening ads in French and English posted.
