Located in Uddingston, to the east of Glasgow, on the corner of Spindlelowe Road and the now longer existing Crofthead Street. Designed in an Atmospheric Oriental style by architect Albert V. Gardner, the Pavilion Cinema was opened in August 1920 and was operated by the Uddingston Picture House Co. Ltd. It had a 21ft wide proscenium. Around 1929 it was equipped with a sound on disc sound system. By 1937 this had been replaced with a British Thomson-Houston (BTH) sound system.

In 1942 it was taken over by George Palmer and his Associated G.P. Cinemas chain. It was still open in 1958.
