Situated in Ahuriri, a coastal suburb of Napier, in the Hawke’s Bay region of the North Island, the Globe Theatrette opened in 2011.
Rather uniquely, this extremely luxurious ‘boutique’ cinema was founded by the owners of LDE Ltd (“Land Development Engineering”) and is housed on the ground floor at the rear of their premises. The entrance is behind Mama Sons Pizza, an associated business which supplies patrons with their in-screen dining!
The custom-made leather armchairs and couches are generously spaced in the very comfortable auditorium.
