One of the last suburban movie theatres built in the 50s with a big capacity, a stage in the auditorium, and a projection booth under the balcony, has been preserved unaltered or divided. It is operated by the city of Ivry sur Seine.
In the suburbs of Paris many single screen theatres remain, but the Luxy is one of the nicest.
