Air Dome

This airdome appears on the 1913 Sanborn, in a location that was an empty lot in 1908. While a fairly standard fenced lot with a tin clad wooden stage at the rear, this was unusual in that it was built over the now long-vanished Bull Creek, which once ran through the east side of town.

It’s unknown exactly when this closed, but the 1923 map shows a small filling station on this corner. The current structure is a rather ratty gas station that appears to be from roughly 1960.
