The Tomakomai Toho Central Eigeki located inside the Yuraku Building opened its doors in 1975 as a 410-seat twin-screen theater (with 205 seats in each auditorium). The first screen was located on the first floor while the second screen was located on the second floor.

Throughout time, the seats remain the same amount but was downgraded a tiny bit towards the end to 401 seats (200 in each, but an extra one in Screen 2; both equipped with Dolby Stereo).

The Tomakomai Toho Central Eigeki closed for the final time on April 15, 2005 with “National Treasure” in Screen 1 and “The Aviator” in Screen 2 due to the opening of the Dinos Cinemas Tomakomai the following week.
