The 1914 map shows a large wooden ‘Motion Picture Theatre’ located on this lot. There was nothing here on the 1908 map. The theater was quite basic, and not very tall. There was a simple awning over the entrance.

This was surely demolished many years ago, and there is an ugly 1970’s office building located here.

I do not think this was the opera house. There was one on the second floor of a building in downtown, and still operating on the 1914 map. I will add that.
