Located in Hungerford, Berkshire. The Corn Exchange is located on the Market Place, High Street, close to the corner of Church Street. It was opened on 11th October 1871 as the Town Hall and Corn Exchange (the Corn Exchange is on the ground floor of the building) and was designed by architect James H. Money of Newbury. A feature of the building is its magnificent clock-tower on the right-hand side.

The Corn Exchange was closed in 1923 and it was converted into the Corn Exchange Cinema. By 1934 it was operating as the Cinema and had been equipped with a A.W.H. sound system.

From around 1935 it was renamed Regent Cinema and it was equipped with a RCA sound system. In the mid-1950’s it was equipped with CinemaScope and the screen was 26 and half foot wide inside a 30 foot wide proscenium. It was closed in 1970.

The Corn Exchange is now used for hosting antique fairs and other gatherings. It is a Grade II Listed building.
