The Fremont County Centennial Edition, Thursday, March 4, 1993, reported the Rialto Theatre was formerly a funeral parlor. A search of Sanborn Maps 1921 found a funeral parlor on Bridge Street, near the river. The other theatres were the Rex Theatre and Grays Opera House but the Rialto Theatre was said to be the first theatre to bring talkies to St. Anthony.

Film Daily Year Book 1929 list a 500-seat Rialto Theatre, which was listed as closed in the 1940 Year Book.

Today’s location would be the Wells Fargo Bank near the river. The faded Riverside Hotel sign can be found on an adjacent building and as the Centennial Edition reported, the first St. Anthony theatre was opened by Mr. Snyder east of the Hotel.
