The 1949-50 Theatre Catalog included a drive-in in Forrest City, capacity 450 cars, owned by Montgomery and Priddy. The 1952 edition updated the name, the Skyway Drive-In, a location on Highway 70, and a new owner, L. F. Haven.
The June 22, 1970 issue of Boxoffice reported that Lou Haven had geared up his Skyway Drive-In for full-time operation for the summer.
A 1957 aerial photo showed a drive-in on US 70 about two miles west of town. It looked intact in 1982, but lost its screen between the 1984 and 1985 photos. The site is across the street from the ARDOT district maintenance headquarters, which has the address of 3601 US-70, Forrest City, AR 72335.

A closer address is 3618 US-70, Forrest City, AR.
This puts it right on the building which now dominates the property. However, the area where the drive-in was located is still untouched and overgrown, showing the outline and ramps.
