Opened by Gene Boggs Enterprises as the Gene Boggs Twin Cinema. Later it was renamed Broadway Twin Cinema, then two auditoriums were added making it a four screens and getting the new name of the Broadway Cinema. I could not find a time line. The theatre is locally owned and operated.

This opened as the Gene Boggs Twin Cinema, operated by Gene Boggs Enterprises, who also operated theaters in Benton, Hot Springs, Little Rock, Osceola, Stuttgart, and West Helena.
