This theater first appears on the November 1911 Sanborn, in an old two story brick building which was constructed sometime before 1893.
It seems to have initially only been on the ground floor, as the second floor is noted to be vacant on the 1925 map. By 1925, it seems to have been remodeled to its present appearance. The new facade had an attractive two-tone pattern in the brick and a pent roof at the top. It was renamed the Blair Theater by 1931. It was closed around 1939, when the new theater building was constructed just to the north.
This building reverted to retail thereafter. The building is in good shape today, and after having been an American Legion post for many years, it is used as a beauty salon.
