Following the success of Yishun 10 which opened a year prior, Golden Village opened its second location, GV Bishan at Junction 8 Shopping Centre on 27th November 1993. It features six screens and a state-of-the-art projection and surround sound system at that time.
A revamp in January 2014 brought Singapore’s first D-Box seats there, which are located at the rearmost seats of Halls 1 and 2. These seats offer patrons a realistic and immersive moviegoing experience through motion generated by the films.
