This 6-screen CineStar opened its doors in 2002 on the site of a former slaughterhouse right next to a parking garage in the immediate vicinity of the city’s train station in Emden. It has a total capacity of 927 seats.
This theater was generically a replacement of the nearby popular Apollo Theatre which closed seven years later due to low attendance (It has its own page on Cinema Treasures).
