The New Pantheon Theatre opened January 1, 1926 with D.W. Griffith’s “America”. It was located on N. Grand Avenue East. It was renovated to the plans of architect Carl T. Meyer in an Art Deco style, reopening on November 15, 1936 with Jean Harlow in “Suzy”. The theatre closed in 1964, and was later demolished.
