The 11-screen TOHO Cinemas Nijo opened its doors on June 23, 2005 featuring an original capacity of 1,954 seats (later 1,794 seats). Screens 1-10 has the installations of two wheelchairs each, while the 68-seat “Premier” screen only has one wheelchair.

Screen 10 is the largest with IMAX installations and a seating capacity of 324 seats and the Premier screen is the smallest with only 68 seats, while the other screens has ranging capacities of 105-280. The 280-seat Screen 1 is the main auditorium with installations of THX.
